IT Technician at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company

As an IT Technician, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team of IT professionals providing in-house technical PC hardware and software support to all Reynolds and Reynolds associates. Your daily responsibilities will involve responding to user calls and tickets, expertly supporting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining end-user systems.

While your primary focus will be on the direct support of end-user workstation devices, your role will also encompass broader responsibilities. These include the management of network devices, Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, Active Directory account and email administration, and providing support for a diverse array of applications. Furthermore, exciting opportunities exist to engage in special projects, allowing you to research emerging technologies and tackle more complex problem-solving challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a goal-driven team player, possessing solid organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 2-year IT degree or equivalent experience; A+ Certification is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong prioritization skills.
  • Robust technical skills in both hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service capabilities, evidenced through clear verbal and written communication.
  • Must possess a flexible work schedule, including the ability to work evenings or weekends, with travel as needed.
  • Ability to accurately identify colors, essential for terminating and inspecting Cat 6 cables.
  • Willingness and ability to sit at a desk or be on your feet and walk for the entire duration of a shift.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Requires the physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, with occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
