Position Information
This strategic and operational role is central to the success of the technology platforms that support clinicians and staff across all campuses and our regional healthcare partners. The Regional Platform Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administration, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft 365, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and end-user technology environments.
Working closely with the Platform Architect/Owner and cross-functional teams, this role ensures platforms are secure, performant, and aligned with both organizational and regional priorities. The lead will guide a team of platform administrators and technical specialists, while also remaining actively engaged in platform operations and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day platform operations, ensuring smooth functioning of M365, IAM, and related technologies.
- Manage incident and problem resolution, driving root cause analysis and continuous service improvement.
- Support regional platform expansion, collaborating with healthcare partners to ensure consistent and scalable platform operations.
- Advance adoption of new tools and features, including AI technologies like Microsoft Co-Pilot, to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Monitor platform performance, security, and compliance, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
- Coordinate platform updates, integrations, and enhancements, working with internal teams and vendors.
- Overseeing documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing, promoting effective use of technology across the organization.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- Three (3) year College diploma in a related field
- Ten (10) years experience in an IT client service environment
- Working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL concepts
- Progressive leadership experience
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and networks
- Planning, organizing and managing IT service delivery projects
- Proven track record of managing client relations and IT service delivery;
- Hands on experience with Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform and Purview
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively handle sensitive issues and to manage and motivate staff
- Expert problem analysis and resolution skills both in computer hardware and software;
- Solid project management skills (planning, developing, leading, directing and facilitating);
- Team player with demonstrated commitment to service excellence;
- Ability to identify, isolate and communicate problems from, and to all levels of internal service partners;
- Organizational, time management, group leader skills and the ability to work independently;
- Excellent customer service skills, including patience and diplomacy;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hospital (preferred) or healthcare sector in Ontario
- Project management experience and certifications (e.g PMP, PRINCE2)
- Cybersecurity experience and certifications (e.g, Security+, CISSP)
- Knowledge of hospital administration policies and procedures and human and financial resources
- Hands on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, platform management and incident resolution
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Graph API for advanced integration, reporting and automation across Microsoft 365 services
- Background in delivering technical solutions and support within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting, ensuring high availability, compliance and client satisfaction across varied environments.
- Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure and efficient solutions across multiple organizations or healthcare partners
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
