The New York Times seeks a dynamic administrative professional to support the leaders and teams behind its website and mobile applications. Responsibilities
- Manage fluid calendars, appointments, travel arrangements, and resolve conflicts.
- Support large-scale event planning and activities.
- Maintain organizational charts, distribution lists, seating charts, and T&E budgets.
- Create knowledge management documentation for onboarding, hiring plans, and headcount management.
- Handle high volumes of requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations and documents for leadership, and guide meetings.
- Uphold journalistic independence and commitment to seeking the truth.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in administrative and operational support. Preferred candidates will have supported senior executives, have experience with Workday, and come from a tech organization background.
Work Environment & Salary
This hybrid role is based in New York City headquarters, requiring in-office presence three days per week. The annual base pay range is between $70,000 and $85,000 USD.
