Overview

The Mom Project is partnering in the automotive industry to hire a contract Technical Service Agent - EV Charging Remote. This role is fully remote and requires availability from 11 am - 8 pm EST / 8 am - 5 pm PST.

Summary Of Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle technical diagnostics and remote troubleshooting for EV home charging equipment. This role supports customer care cases and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Use available tools for remote diagnosis, provide resolution guidance, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Case Management: Create and update cases in Salesforce, coordinate with logistics, manage technical escalations, and offer training as a subject matter expert.
  • Warranty/RMA/Out of Warranty: Determine warranty status, manage claims, reconcile claims with logistics, and assist with warm transfers or service tech scheduling.
  • Training: Train other agents and support the creation of training materials based on on-the-job experience.

Required Skills / Experience / Education

  • Safety-first attitude with IT and Wi-Fi troubleshooting skills.
  • 3+ years as an electrician or working on electrical components; EV charging equipment repair/installation experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of call center/customer facing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills; ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Associate/Trade degree in a related field or four years of equivalent experience (electrical) and a valid driver's license.

Hours & Location

This role operates Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm EST. It is 100% remote.
