About the Role
At Blood Cancer United, employees work to help find cures for cancer. The Campaign Fundraising Manager - Athletics is responsible for building relationships with fundraising volunteers, implementing innovative peer-to-peer fundraising products, organizing mission centered events and prospecting high-impact donors in a designated market area.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Education, Services and Health Research to communicate the overall mission.
- Organize mission centered local donor cultivation events.
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to achieve revenue goals.
- Recruit and manage volunteers and committees.
- Develop recruitment plans through independent research and networking.
- Maintain working knowledge of the Blood Cancer United mission and programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of experience. Must have good communication, organizational skills and knowledge of digital, social media & emerging online channels. Familiarity with MS Office Suite required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Typical office environment. Minimal physical demands with occasional lifting (up to 15 pounds), travel within designated area, and potential work on evenings or weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
This hourly, non-exempt role offers a base pay range of $65,000 to $78,000, along with annual incentives and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, 403b retirement plan and paid time off.
