About the User Researcher Role at the LEGO Group

At the LEGO Group, we’re building connected, joyful, and imaginative digital experiences for shoppers and LEGO fans worldwide. As a User Researcher, you will delve into understanding the deeper needs, motivations, and behaviors of our consumers — exploring future opportunities and supporting innovative digital experience designs across platforms including LEGO.com, the LEGO Insiders app, in-store touchpoints, and loyalty programs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support early-stage exploratory research to uncover shopper needs.
  • Translate human insights into actionable problem spaces and strategy.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research for various digital products.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and partners.
  • Synthesize insights into narratives that drive team alignment.
  • Develop research tools, templates, and insight repositories.

Candidate Profile

Practical exposure to user research methods (through internships, academics, or initial roles) and a foundational understanding of human-centred design and UX principles are required. Excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and an interest in consumer-facing digital products, especially in ecommerce, loyalty, or retail, are essential.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the Copenhagen office and 2 days remote. Note: No relocation assistance is offered.
