Job Description

About the Role

Would you like to play a key role in helping us develop the builders of tomorrow? Do you thrive in an international, values-driven environment where only the best is good enough? Join one of the world’s leading brands and use your talent for strategic problem-solving in an exciting role!

Please note that the preferred location for this role is Billund and relocation support will not be offered.

Core Responsibilities

Working from our headquarters in Billund, Denmark, or Copenhagen Office, you will be part of the Strategic Projects team within the “strategy and transformation power-house” of the LEGO® Group. Working closely with the team, you will support the Executive Leadership team in developing and driving the LEGO Group's strategic agenda.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead strategic projects, working closely with senior stakeholders across different business units, acting as their strategic thought partner.
  • Adopt a strategic mindset to tackle challenges from an end-to-end perspective to drive holistic impact.
  • Provide mentorship and training to more junior members of the team, including Managers and Analysts.

About the Team

We are a team of 8 passionate and dedicated strategy professionals spanning offices in Billund and Copenhagen, working on strategic projects across the Group. We are part of the Strategy & Transformation team, supporting recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent. In the LEGO Group, we are on a mission to reach millions of children globally with LEGO® experiences. With your skills and commitment, you will help realize this goal. We will, in turn, be dedicated to your professional and personal development, helping you realize your ambitions. You will join a department and a team where alignment between strategic and transformational competencies is key. We value authentic relationships, and you will be working among colleagues who are committed and caring in their work as well as their relationships.

What it Takes

First and foremost, you have a strategic mindset and know how to navigate in a constantly evolving environment. Your well-developed interpersonal skills enable you to build strong working relationships across the entire organization. Moreover, we are looking for:

  • 6+ years of work experience, including strong experience from a top-tier management consultancy. Experience in an internal FMCG strategy department is a plus.
  • A strategic mindset coupled with top-notch quantitative and analytical skills to extract logic, insights, and important conclusions from complex business problems.
  • Ability to easily shift between abstract strategic discussions and operational details to drive projects, including scoping, analysis, and recommendation development.
  • Strong project management skills to lead projects and prioritize numerous tasks and projects simultaneously in an ever-changing environment.

Application Process

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

What’s in it for you?

  • Family Care Leave: Enhanced paid leave options for important life events.
  • Insurances: Comprehensive life and disability insurance.
  • Wellbeing: Resources and benefits for physical and mental wellbeing, community building, and inspiring creativity.
  • Colleague Discount: Generous discount on LEGO products from day one.
  • Bonus: Eligibility for a bonus scheme when goals are reached.
  • Workplace: Assigned primary workplace with a hybrid work policy (average of 3 days/week in office). The hiring team will discuss specifics during recruitment.
