AI Builder at The LegalTech Fund

The LegalTech Fund (TLTF) is the category-defining venture platform for legal innovation. We invest in early-stage companies transforming the business of law and we're building the internal infrastructure to match. We're looking for a hands-on AI Builder to join our core team and design, build, and run the AI-powered workflows that drive how we source deals, support our portfolio, and operate as a fund.

This is not a strategy role, this is a builder role.

What we're looking for:

• You are a tinkerer at heart. You experiment constantly, break things, and iterate fast.
• You have hands-on experience building with AI tools (LLMs, automation platforms, agents, no-code/low-code tools, APIs). This matters far more to us than traditional corporate credentials.
• You've built things other people actually use. We'll ask to see them.
• You can design end-to-end workflows, not just one-off scripts or prompts.
• You're comfortable operating autonomously in a small, fast-moving team.
• You communicate clearly enough to translate what you've built into something the rest of the team can understand and adopt.
• Experience building for the venture capital and/or legal industry.
• You sit at the intersection of legal domain expertise and technical ability, and your portfolio of projects shows it.

What you'll do:

• Design and implement AI-led sourcing workflows that help our investment team identify, track, and engage with emerging legaltech companies at scale.
• Build and maintain automation pipelines for portfolio company administration, including reporting, follow-ups, and data aggregation.
• Develop internal tools that the broader TLTF team can use day-to-day, from research assistants to deal-tracking automations.
• Continuously evaluate and experiment with new AI tools and platforms, bringing the best ones into our stack.
• Own our internal AI infrastructure end-to-end. You build it, you maintain it, you improve it.
• Collaborate closely with the investment team to understand operational pain points and turn them into working solutions.
