About the role
Account Executive Groups and MICE
The Account Executive – Groups & MICE is responsible for managing and driving the conversion of group enquiries by coordinating the end-to-end lead process between clients and LHW member hotels.
Acting as a key coordination point between clients and member hotels, the role ensures timely qualification, distribution, follow-up and progression of all group opportunities to maximize conversion and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales administration & Coordination
- Support the qualification and handling of group and MICE enquiries in collaboration with the Senior Account Manager, including identifying suitable member hotel options aligned with client requirements
- Manage and progress a high-volume pipeline of enquiries, ensuring timely distribution of qualified leads
- Coordinate between clients and member hotels to drive responses, track timelines, and ensure smooth progression of enquiries
- Monitor and manage key deadlines (proposal validity, room block expiry, client decisions) to minimize lost opportunities
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of pipeline activity, ensuring visibility and consistency in CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Support inbox management and day-to-day coordination of incoming enquiries
- Contribute to CRM data accuracy, including account classification processes and database maintenance
- Support the planning and logistics of LHW client events (venue sourcing, coordination, materials, on-site support)
- Assist with preparation, coordination, and follow-up of LHW educational initiatives (e.g. webinars, trainings)
- Support onboarding and training of interns, ensuring consistency in processes and quality of execution
Business Development, Conversion & Commercial
- Identify priority opportunities within the pipeline based on revenue potential and conversion likelihood, proactively supporting conversion strategy
- Support the Senior Account Manager in managing MICE and selected entertainment accounts, including proactive client follow-up and relationship development
- Manage a subset of accounts fully to ensure consistent lead flow, uncover new business opportunities and drive conversion
- Contribute to account development activities, including participation in client meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions
- Support post-event follow-up, including client feedback collection and identification of future business opportunities
- Represent LHW and its member hotels at selected industry events, trade fairs, and client engagements
- Support broader sales initiatives and promotional activities across the team, contributing to revenue generation
- Show initiative in identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and incoming enquiries
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality.
- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality sales or in hotel/client service-related roles; exposure to luxury or international markets is a plus.
