About the IT Support Specialist Role

The Law Office Management Association (TLOMA) is recruiting an IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for providing technical support to all firm members, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software, hardware, peripherals, cloud services, mobile devices, and network connectivity.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all firm members.
  • Investigate, resolve, or escalate hardware and software technical issues.
  • Log support requests and update statuses as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and share knowledge.
  • Provide boardroom support for meetings and online sessions (Teams and Zoom).
  • Support equipment moves, vendor repairs, mobile device configuration, and asset management.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Flexibility in work hours between 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend user support as needed.
  • Participate in and support technical projects and schedule planned absences with backup coverage.
  • Maintain full-time in-office attendance during business hours.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or degree/certificate in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a law firm.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and document management systems (iManage).
  • Exceptional client service and effective communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and independent working abilities.
