Job Summary

The Department of International Health at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a Research Data Analyst, International Health. This role provides essential data analysis and related activities for diverse research projects and studies, contributing significantly to the ongoing development, maintenance, and utilization of a robust research data pipeline.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collect data and generate comprehensive reports and models.
  • Execute and analyze model results, preparing detailed reports based on the analysis.
  • Conduct thorough analyses in support of assigned research projects or studies.
  • Perform statistical analyses utilizing standard and specialized statistical software packages.
  • Design and prepare illustrative tables to effectively communicate analytic findings.
  • Manage or contribute to the accurate entry of data into the assigned database.
  • May engage in other research-related responsibilities as needed.

Advanced Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for precise vehicle speed estimation.
  • Develop an interactive data visualization platform to clearly display and communicate analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and draft manuscripts for submission to esteemed peer-reviewed academic journals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Project experience with developing AI algorithms specifically for public health applications.
