Job Summary
The Department of International Health at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a Research Data Analyst, International Health. This role provides essential data analysis and related activities for diverse research projects and studies, contributing significantly to the ongoing development, maintenance, and utilization of a robust research data pipeline.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect data and generate comprehensive reports and models.
- Execute and analyze model results, preparing detailed reports based on the analysis.
- Conduct thorough analyses in support of assigned research projects or studies.
- Perform statistical analyses utilizing standard and specialized statistical software packages.
- Design and prepare illustrative tables to effectively communicate analytic findings.
- Manage or contribute to the accurate entry of data into the assigned database.
- May engage in other research-related responsibilities as needed.
Advanced Responsibilities
- Design and implement an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for precise vehicle speed estimation.
- Develop an interactive data visualization platform to clearly display and communicate analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and draft manuscripts for submission to esteemed peer-reviewed academic journals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
- Three years of relevant experience.

- Project experience with developing AI algorithms specifically for public health applications.
