About the Role
The Life Design Consultant for Career Mobility & Talent Intelligence at The Johns Hopkins University will design and deliver innovative professional development programs for JHU staff. Reporting to the Director of the Center for Staff Life Design, the consultant will develop digital and in-person course content, facilitate training sessions, and implement scalable life design solutions to support career mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Staff Life Design programming across digital and live modalities.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders to assess needs and develop career development services.
- Design digital courses using tools like Articulate, Adobe AI, and Cornerstone.
- Integrate platforms such as Eightfold and JHU's career architecture into curriculum offerings.
- Utilize SharePoint, Canva, HTML, and CSS for digital content creation.
- Plan and execute events and workshops both onsite and virtually.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in any field with at least one year of relevant experience. Experience in teaching active-learning workshops, digital course design, and a background in human-centered or life design is required. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and additional experience in adult learning and program management.
Work Environment & Additional Information
This full-time, hybrid role is based on Eastern High Campus with travel between campus locations required. The position includes a competitive salary range and a total rewards package that supports staff growth, health, and career development.
