About the Role

The Business Development Manager - Commercial Chain Accounts is responsible for delivering top-line sales and bottom-line profit targets for the commercial national chain foodservice account channel. This role involves developing, executing, and overseeing business activities with assigned Top 300 national chain foodservice accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Achieve volume and margin targets, manage trade spend, and oversee P&L for assigned accounts.
  • Customer Development: Develop and execute annual customer plans, nurture relationships with key decision makers, negotiate contracts and drive growth.
  • Business Planning and Analyses: Analyze business trends to penetrate existing accounts and acquire new ones. Execute joint business planning and quarterly business reviews.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years managing National Chain Foodservice Account business.
  • Experience with broker management and strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Travel up to 60%.
  • Must reside near a major airport.
