Job Summary

A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activities, including greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, and providing product information. The role involves demonstrating outstanding customer service, maintaining a well-organized sales floor, and processing payments accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and answer inquiries.
  • Maintain and organize the sales floor and stock areas.
  • Process payments including cash, checks, and credit cards.
  • Assist in merchandise display and stocking.
  • Perform general janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Must have a basic understanding of sales principles and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and perform basic math, reading and writing tasks independently.

Additional Information

This role requires physical activity including standing, reaching, and occasional stooping or kneeling. Availability to work weekends is mandatory.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $13.50/hr
