About The Hong Kong Jockey Club

Our Mission

We design, build, and operate technology powering the Club's hospitality, racing, and wagering operations. We also drive business growth through new products and services while ensuring a secure technological environment.

Cyber Security Department

The Cyber Security Department safeguards information assets, IT systems, networks, and cloud platforms. With strong risk governance and cybersecurity standards, it protects the Club against emerging threats and ensures regulatory compliance in Hong Kong and China.

The Job: Technical Manager Data Security & Protection

You will:

  • Drive continuous improvement in data protection practices through innovation and automation.
  • Maintain and manage DLP policies across email, web, and endpoints.
  • Manage automated certificate management tools and integrate them with enterprise platforms.
  • Secure SaaS applications with CASB to control access and monitor risks.
  • Enforce USB access policies and monitor removable media usage.
  • Support data classification and labelling initiatives.
  • Advise on technical security implementations and detection gaps.
  • Monitor and respond to data security incidents with incident response teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineers and analysts.

About You: You hold a university degree with a strong background in IT, cybersecurity, application development, and networking. You have hands-on experience with data security technologies, data loss prevention, cloud security, CASB, data classification tools, and certificate lifecycle management.

The level of appointment is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
