Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that continuously acts for the betterment of our society. The Club operates a unique integrated business model, encompassing racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and significant charities and community contributions. This model generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Sports Business Division manages the Club's entire sports business portfolio, driving end-to-end commercial growth across horse racing, football, lottery, and emerging sporting opportunities. It focuses on strategic marketing to attract and retain diverse customer segments, leads the Racecourse Masterplan development, spearheads new ventures with global growth potential, and manages the sports wagering portfolio to drive revenue and profitability.
The Department
The Customer Systems and Operations team provides mission-critical wagering operations for account services, claims handling, and lottery draw operation. The team also leads the adaptation of CRM and automation technology within the Club, drives new initiatives in customer touchpoint experience, and enables technology to support marketing, loyalty programs, and cost-effective internal CRM processes.
The Job: Part-time Administration Assistant
- Support betting account maintenance.
- Respond to colleague enquiries and resolve service requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of betting accounts.
- Perform other office duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, which may occasionally be carried out outside HKJC premises.
About You
- Secondary graduated.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Working Information
- Pay-rate: $86.5 per hour.
- Working Hours: Monday-Sunday: 9:00am - 11:30pm*. Approximately 100 working hours and 10-15 working days per month. Actual working hours and days depend on operational need and on a rostering basis.
- Working Location: Sha Tin Communications & Technology Centre, Sha Tin Racecourse.
