Position Purpose

A Data Analyst Supply Chain leverages technical abilities to transform complex analytical tasks into clear data-driven stories. The role involves collaborating with fellow analysts to utilize established analytical processes across diverse datasets, deriving insights and solving business problems. Under mentorship, the candidate will enhance technical proficiencies in SQL/code, statistics, and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks (30%).
  • Create dashboards, reports, and handle ad-hoc requests using data analytics tools (20%).
  • Ensure high-quality output with keen attention to detail (20%).
  • Develop technical competencies and subject matter expertise (20%).
  • Present findings clearly, connecting data analysis with broader business context (10%).

Direct Manager/Reports

This position reports to a Manager and has no direct reports.

Travel & Working Conditions

Occasional overnight travel less than 10% of the time. The role is primarily office-based with regular movement and occasional light lifting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, or comparable database systems.
  • 1-3 years experience in data mining, statistical analysis, auditing, and/or forecasting.
  • Experience analyzing Supply Chain, Merchandising, or Operations data.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Finance or a related quantitative field.
