Position Overview

This role is fully responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving high-value claims including commercial auto, general liability, product liability, and liquor liability. The position may involve working with third party administrators (TPAs) and co-adjusting cases to facilitate learning and impact larger claim files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain state adjuster licenses and continuing education.
  • Handle assignments with a high degree of technical complexity.
  • Negotiate settlements, mitigate losses, and control expenses.
  • Act as a consultant, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop claim strategies.

Qualifications

Applicants typically have 8-10 years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and may possess advanced degrees. Must be decisive, organized, and adaptable, with strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office and claims systems (e.g., CSS, PMS) is required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to use standard office equipment and travel as needed. The role demands prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
