Position Overview
The Regional Liability Adjuster Major Case Unit is fully responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving complex claims. These claims, which may include commercial auto, general liability (bodily injury, property damage, personal and advertising injury), product liability, and liquor liability, represent the company’s largest damage exposures and may originate from anywhere in the country. This role may also involve coordination with third party administrators.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits.
- Investigate and negotiate high complexity claims.
- Provide technical guidance and assist in developing large claim strategies.
- Communicate regularly with leadership and collaborate with team members.
- Co-adjust cases for training or facilitating learning.
What You Need to Apply
Typically, candidates will have 8-10 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Higher levels of education may be desired. Key skills include strong negotiation, decision-making, and communication - both oral and written. Applicants should possess or be willing to secure required state licenses, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and be proficient with MS Office and Claims systems (CSS, PMS, etc.).
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Must be able to use a computer, travel as needed, and sit/stand for extended periods.
