About the role
IT Analyst
As an IT Analyst, you will act as the main local IT infrastructure contact, providing technical guidance and support. You will maintain regular contact with business areas, orienting user actions regarding IT infrastructure resources and guiding usage of IT ServiceDesk and IT Global services. You will understand and support initiatives and projects involving IT infrastructure implementation at Mexico operations. You will also assist in coordinating Local IT Services to guarantee the best services, perform follow-up on administration and control activities within the Information Technology area, and support and provide information during the auditing process. You will research, design, implement, and support technology solutions required by business areas, following company standards, processes, technology, and policies.
What You'll Do
IT Infrastructure Maintenance / Support:
- Act as the local point of contact for Mexico offices and Warehouse application changes, upgrades, and problems requiring IT Infrastructure attention/intervention.
- Run IT Infrastructure lifecycle and CAPEX projects.
- Guide local IT onsite support using Goodyear Knowledge articles and IT expertise.
- Review and manage onsite support quality of services.
- Represent GIS (Global Infrastructure Services) in all local project or initiative meetings.
- Be responsible for IT Infrastructure services AOP, supporting the IT Country Coordinator for forecasts and executions.
- Administer IT Infrastructure service provider performance and deliverables using ITIL processes and KPIs.
- Periodically control, assess, and review services and technologies to ensure best cost and performance efficiencies.
- Ensure GY IT standards for local projects are respected and fulfilled.
- Adequately manage inventories of IT Infrastructure equipment and the respective lease & buy process.
- Manage devices rollout (mobile, Desktops, laptops, and printers).
- Support new interfaces integration with banks and other vendors.
What We’re Looking For
- Completed professional degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Networking (configuration and management of network equipment) – Focus on Cisco.
- Servers (technical knowledge in server management) – Focus on HP hardware and VMWare virtual environments.
- WPS, knowledge of support management for end users (desktops, laptops, MTR, barcode, and mobile devices).
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Analytical thinking and strategic planning.
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.
