Position Summary
The Hospitality Interior Designer at The Gettys Group designs, manages, and executes the entire interior design process. They work self-directed in schematic design, design development, construction documentation, rendering, and construction administration, ensuring projects adhere to established budgets, schedules, and programmatic requirements.
This role may also involve leading parts or entire projects in collaboration with team leadership.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA-accredited or NAAB-accredited program.
Experience: 2 - 6 years in relevant fields.

Job Required Skills
- Experience with construction materials and FF&E specifications/providers.
- Proficient in project design specifications, construction documentation, material selection, shop drawing reviews, and construction administration.
- Graphic skills in AutoCAD (current release preferred), Photoshop, and SketchUp.
- Rendering expertise using Enscape.
- Knowledge in specification writing (SPEXX experience preferred).
- Understanding of design principles, theories, color, and materials.
- Ability to perform quality control on one’s own work.
- Management of project tasks in line with schedules.
- Familiarity with hotel brand structures and standards, including documentation per brand guidelines.
