Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated Remote Architect with outstanding design and collaboration capabilities. The ideal candidate will be someone adept at working effectively with individuals across all levels of the firm and will proactively research, design, and implement solutions within their specialized zoo division.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients, analyze their goals, and conceive and develop solutions to achieve those objectives.
- Create and present schematic site designs and comprehensive plans.
- Plan the project budget, define milestones, set schedules, and track project performance diligently.
- Coordinate workload for design development and construction document phases to ensure timely completion.
- Plan, prepare, and meticulously check construction documents.
- Supervise less experienced staff during the preparation of construction documents, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Direct and coordinate with engineering disciplines and third-party equipment vendors, rigorously reviewing construction documents for potential conflicts.
- Prepare comprehensive project specifications.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture / Licensed Architect preferred (or in progress).
- Ideally 2-12 years of experience working in an architectural design firm.
- Strong Revit and production skills are essential.
