Executive Assistant, Learning and Assessment at The College Board
This is a remote role, with an option for hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office) for candidates near College Board offices. Preference is given to candidates based in the Eastern time zone. Occasional travel for business purposes is required for all College Board employees.
This is a full-time position.
About The Team
The Learning & Assessment division at College Board is dedicated to researching, designing, delivering, and strengthening high-quality assessments that advance opportunity for students, educators, and members globally. This division integrates expertise in research, psychometrics, and assessment design to ensure assessments are rigorous, accessible, and evidence-based. Working closely with other College Board teams, Learning & Assessment drives innovation in assessment design, supports equitable measurement, and provides analytic insights to guide program strategy. The Psychometrics and Assessment Design & Development Teams, requiring dedicated executive administrative support, are key parts of this division.
About The Opportunity
As the Executive Assistant, Learning and Assessment, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Vice Presidents of Psychometrics and Assessment Design & Development. These leaders oversee a combined staff of over 100 employees. Your role will be critical in managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, handling expenses, and organizing event logistics, serving as a central point of coordination for these two significant, cross-functional teams.
In This Role, You Will
Administrative and Operational Support (50%)
- Manage complex calendars, proactively identifying and addressing conflicts.
- Coordinate travel, lodging, and logistics for both VPs.
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in managing sensitive information.
Meeting and Event Coordination (30%)
- Plan and execute logistics for in-person meetings and events hosted by AD&D and Psychometrics (e.g., leadership meetings, retreats, SAT review committees, technical advisory sessions, planning workshops).
- Partner with internal teams on event planning, travel coordination, catering, and materials preparation.
- Support virtual and hybrid event facilitation.
Administrative Systems and Communication (20%)
- Maintain shared documentation and templates for meeting scheduling and coordination.
- Collaborate closely with the Assistant Director, Division Management, to ensure alignment across leadership calendars and divisional initiatives.
- Support the operations of division initiatives, as needed.
About You
- 2–4 years of executive or administrative support experience, preferably supporting senior leaders.
- Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Slack, Zoom, and expense management systems (e.g., Concur).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion, reliability, and professional judgment.
- Collaborative, customer-service mindset; ability to balance priorities across multiple stakeholders.
