What You’ll Do For Us
The Production Operator performs a variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant including:
- Equipment set up, clean-ups, packaging filling and labeling.
- Running multiple machines such as fillers, cappers, robots, and casing equipment.
- Conducting visual inspections of incoming materials and finished goods.
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Completing quality checks and required documentation accurately.
Qualification & Requirements
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent and prior production experience. Key requirements include:
- Good math and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Familiarity with operator control panels and automated casing equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment sequence start-up and shutdown.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Preferred forklift operation experience.
- Ability to work a 12 ½ hour shift with unpaid lunch and possible overtime.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive base pay range of $46,800 to $57,200, shift premium, and a $1,000 sign on bonus. A full range of benefits is also offered.
