Role Description: Kitchen Manager
This full-time, seasonal Kitchen Manager role is an on-site position located in Amagansett, NY. The Kitchen Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food quality standards are consistently upheld. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining inventory, monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, and collaborating with team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The role also involves developing and maintaining effective workflows and ensuring efficiency and organization in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Food Preparation, Cooking, and maintaining Food Quality standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Food & Beverage operations and compliance.
- Strong leadership skills in Culinary Management, including team supervision and effective decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands seamlessly.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-volume setting is a plus.
- A degree or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is beneficial, not required.
