Position Overview
The City College of New York is seeking a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting for Fall 2026. This teaching-oriented position will focus on delivering a broad range of courses including introduction to finance, accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance, and specialized topics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Department and Role Details
Lecturers are considered master teachers responsible for curriculum design, program assessment, and student mentoring. They are full faculty members of the Economics and Business Department with service expectations including committee involvement and contribution to projects focused on teaching and learning. Promotion to a Certificate of Continuous Employment is possible after five years based on teaching excellence and service.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master’s or PhD in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $95,302 - $101,737, commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension, paid parental leave, and professional development support.
