Software Engineering Advisor

Join The Cigna Group as a Software Engineering Advisor, a Band 4 Senior Contributor role within Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. This position emphasizes designing and developing customer and support-facing capabilities while supporting product delivery partners in building, testing, and releasing solutions. It also involves server-side platform development, incorporating end-user feedback via user-centered design, occasional project ownership, and communication management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop customer and support-facing capabilities.
  • Support product delivery in build, test, and release processes.
  • Develop server-side platforms and incorporate user feedback.
  • Occasionally own small projects and manage project communication.
  • Follow a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and at least 3 years of IT experience are required. Candidates should have experience with Oracle, ETL processes, data warehousing, development languages such as Python, Unix shell scripting, JAVA, SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, and building CI/CD pipelines among other technical skills. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Rally, HP ALM, Zephyr, and GitHub is essential.

Additional Information

If working remotely, a stable cable broadband or fiber optic connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required.
