About the role

Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst helps to power the business-critical applications that keep our restaurants running, from POS and payments to integrations and reporting. You’ll research, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and enhance these systems while partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Training, and IT. You’ll thrive in this position if you are Curious, Collaborative, Accountable, and Adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with IT department and third-party vendors to maintain systems, advise on patches/releases, develop upgrade plans, and lead upgrades, deployments, and implementation of new capabilities.
  • Provide functional and technical support to Restaurant Operations, Finance, Training, and other Support Center departments to optimize technology and processes.
  • Facilitate sessions with business partners to gather functional requirements and coordinate gap development with third-party vendors.
  • Write functional and technical requirements for projects, including definition, scope, objectives, and approach.
  • Act as a liaison between business analysts, project management, and development teams.
  • Utilize functional and technical understanding of solutions, interfaces, integrations, and reporting to address enhancements and solve problems.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis, perform comparative analysis, and recommend solutions.
  • Perform data extraction using SQL and APIs for research, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (primarily PowerShell) for operational processes and system improvements.
  • Participate in vendor discussions for SOW definition, scope alignment, and timeline planning.
  • Document and maintain system design and build documents.
  • Work with clients to anticipate and minimize the impact of change.
  • Provide support to other IT team members and invest time to grow skills.

What we require:

  • 3+ years of experience in Information Systems.
  • Experience using SQL and APIs for data extraction and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience defining and documenting requirements.
  • Experience supporting system implementations and managing projects.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Willingness to occasionally support after-hours or weekend needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Experience supporting restaurant technologies (POS, credit/gift card middleware, KDS, front desk systems).
  • Understanding of relational data structures and data processing flowcharting techniques.
