Vehicle Acquisition Specialist
The CAR Group (Norm Reeves Dealerships) is seeking a motivated and outgoing Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Norm Reeves Honda in Irvine, CA. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring a superior customer experience and identifying trade-in opportunities for our sales department. What You’ll Do
- Manage and follow up on vehicle acquisition leads from sources like Kelly Blue Book.
- Utilize automotive programs and tools to contact customers and purchase their vehicles.
- Maintain customer database and engage in regular communication.
- Greet customers, assess their needs, and offer assistance with desired vehicles.
- Review vehicle condition reports and determine wholesale and retail prices.
- Inspect and accept incoming vehicles.
- Create and execute reconditioning plans to prepare vehicles for sale.
- Apply sound judgment, research, and interpersonal skills to make competitive offers on vehicles.
- Convert prospective buyers into sales opportunities.
- Achieve a monthly goal of purchasing 25 vehicles.
- Collaborate with management to identify current inventory needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What You’ll Need
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiating skills.
