Summer Intern - Corporate Communications
The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) is seeking motivated students for a Summer Intern position in Corporate Communications. This role offers hands-on experience in creating engaging promotional materials and supporting brand visibility initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in brainstorming, conceptualizing, and designing online/offline promotional materials.
- Collaborate with team members on content creation, design illustration, animation, video editing, and translation.
- Support social media management, content production, and event coordination.
- Handle ad-hoc marketing and communications tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Design, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and other relevant design applications.
- Strong graphic skills in layout development and artwork production for online/offline materials are advantageous.
- Self-motivated, creative, digital-savvy, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Summer Intern - Facilities Management
BGCA is looking for a Summer Intern to assist in Facilities Management. This role involves coordinating maintenance services, managing renovation works, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for BGCA centres and headquarter.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and coordinating repair and maintenance services with consultants, contractors, and property management companies.
- Support routine maintenance works and/or renovation works for the BGCA headquarter building.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for facility assets, maintenance activities, and service contracts.
- Handle inquiries related to fitting-out works and prepare technical reports.
- Conduct site visits for inspection works.
- Respond to facilities-related emergencies and ad hoc duties.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related fields.
- Knowledge and experience in interior design, Minor Works, or bill of quantities are advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a positive work attitude and good team spirit.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Good computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
Contract period: July to August
Summer Intern - Data Visualization and Analytics
This Summer Intern position focuses on Data Visualization and Analytics, providing practical experience in transforming complex data into clear, interactive visualizations and actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using SQL, Power BI, and Python.
- Build and improve Business Intelligence solutions, including automated reports and data pipelines.
- Analyze and visualize key data across areas like Finance: budget tracking, expense analysis, financial KPIs, and forecasting dashboards.
- Create weekly and monthly management reports and executive-level summary dashboards.
- Explore new visualization techniques and recommend improvements to current BI practices.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in data visualization, Business Intelligence, and storytelling with data.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn quickly in: Visualization tools (Power BI), Programming (Python), SQL for querying databases.
- Good understanding of dashboard design principles and best practices.
