About the role
Company Description
The Agentic Loop is an AI publication and learning space focused on the frontier of agentic AI for curious learners, builders, and leaders. It translates complex developments in AI agents, underlying models, and real-world applications into clear, practical language, avoiding hype and jargon. The platform offers a weekly newsletter, daily posts on usable frameworks and tools, honest assessments of what works, and hands-on programs such as the Production GenAI Engineering Program. The Agentic Loop also hosts conversations with practitioners shaping the “agent age,” making it a hub for anyone who wants to actively understand and build with AI. It serves students, founders, engineers, and leaders who want to engage with what’s next in AI rather than just observe it.
Role Description
As a Software Engineer at The Agentic Loop, you will design, build, and maintain software systems that power our AI-focused content, tools, and learning experiences in a full-time, remote role. You will implement back-end services and APIs, integrate AI models and frameworks, and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure for our products. Day-to-day work includes writing clean, maintainable code, reviewing code from peers, debugging and optimizing existing systems, and collaborating with content and program teams to translate user needs into technical solutions. You will participate in planning and architecture discussions, contribute to technical documentation, and help evolve our engineering practices as we experiment at the frontier of agentic AI.

- Ability to design, test, and maintain production-grade systems, with familiarity in version control, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
- Interest or experience in AI/ML, particularly in integrating models or agents into applications, is highly beneficial.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and comfort collaborating in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in early-stage or fast-moving environments, with a willingness to learn, experiment, and iterate quickly.
