Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead digital transformation efforts for government customers and The Aerospace Corporation. You will develop strategies, architect digital solutions across satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems, and guide the transition from legacy capabilities to modern digital engineering ecosystems.

  • Develop and execute digital transformation strategies and roadmaps.
  • Architect solutions across multiple levels and types.
  • Support transition from legacy systems to digital engineering solutions.
  • Establish governance with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide integrated perspectives for balanced, enterprise-wide solutions.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related technical discipline and have extensive professional engineering experience related to digital engineering (DE). Experience with DE ecosystems, cloud technologies, COTS/MS&A applications, and enterprise data management is required. A current or the ability to obtain a US government security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

  • Advanced degree in STEM.
  • Experience with government reference architecture.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Direct experience with DoD acquisition processes and cloud service providers.
  • Experience in systems-of-systems engineering and MBSE.

Locations & Work Model

This role is 100% onsite with opportunities in Chantilly, VA; Crystal City, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA; Huntsville, AL; or Albuquerque, NM.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $117,300 - $226,900 per year with a competitive benefits package including comprehensive health care, flexible work schedules, retirement plans, professional growth programs, and more.
