Job Overview

The Senior QA Analyst will assist the QA Manager with team leadership, testing, and test plan creation for a AAA title. The role involves collaborating with various disciplines to develop test plans, execute tests, report status, and maintain quality documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QA team in producing a AAA game.
  • Build and execute test plans for features and workflows.
  • Collaborate with outsource QA teams and create JIRA tickets.
  • Develop testing reports and update the studio on progress.
  • Assist in triaging and validating JIRAs.
  • Document QA processes and attend relevant meetings.

Requirements & Skills

  • At least one shipped game in a QA capacity.
  • 5+ years of relevant Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • People leadership and test plan development skills.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and test case repositories like Testmo.
  • Experience with offsite/outsource QA teams (bonus).

Qualities

Strong communication skills (visual, verbal, and written) and the ability to work independently while conveying high-level vision. Conflict resolution abilities are essential.
