Your Daily Life
Located in the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales's most significant technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of our systems and equipment involve expertise across more than 80 professions in high-tech defense and security solutions, and digital services.
Within the Customer Service Sector (SSC) (350 employees), Digital Services (30 employees) contributes to the development of digital solutions and data exploitation for all sectors and competence centers of the OME Business Line. The Digital Services department is composed of 4 poles: a data pole, an architecture and offerings pole, a steering pole, and a digital development pole. We are looking for a manager to lead this digital development pole, which comprises DevOps engineers working predominantly in an agile environment, supported by a Scrum Master and apprentice developers. This manager will hold a hierarchical management role and contribute to the professional development of their team members. They will also participate, within their pole's scope, in building digital business offerings led by the service's offering referent.
The manager of the digital development pole will lead a team of digital application developers, including DevOps engineers or Scrum Masters, working agilely on projects. They will collaborate with resources from other poles within the service to foster cohesion.
Responsibilities
- Hierarchically manage the pole's resources.
- Provide Project Pilots with adequate resources based on their needs and associated workload, in compliance with the team's workload plan.
- Manage these technical resources and ensure their development (autonomy, skills management, coaching, career development, training).
- Oversee the improvement of best practices and tools related to the discipline (including automation and data management), their mastery, and their deployment across internal or external projects.
- Provide feedback to collaborators.
- Ensure knowledge capitalization and sharing.
- Continuously manage and track the workload of collaborators against the initially planned load, alerting pilots in case of discrepancies.
- Lead the monthly update of the collaborators' workload plan with the pilots.
- Contribute to the service's technical and financial offerings within their scope, as developed by the service's offering manager.
- Provide reporting to management.
Your Profile

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5 level) and have experience in:
- Developing collaborator skills.
