Position: Senior Data Scientist with LLM Experience
Join our Threat Research group composed of elite researchers and developers. This role focuses on developing and deploying advanced AI models to counter cybersecurity threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical projects involving LLMs, deep learning, and neural networks.
- Design, train, fine-tune, and deliver LLM and advanced models for anomaly detection and threat classification.
- Drive research from ideation through prototyping to production systems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI into security solutions.
- Analyze complex security data to spot emerging threats.
- Mentor data scientists and contribute to team growth.
- Represent Imperva in AI and security forums through publications and presentations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in machine learning and deep learning with neural networks and NLP.
- 3+ years experience in training, fine-tuning, and delivering LLMs at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
- Experience with MLOps, scalable model deployment, and inference optimization.
- Strong background in analyzing large datasets using SQL, Spark, etc.
- Experience in application/data security is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices is a plus.
- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
