About Sales Engineer Data Protection

Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer based in South Korea, you will provide pre-sales technical support for Thales DIS CSP authentication products within your assigned territory. You will support the sales team by identifying opportunities, delivering technical presentations, and troubleshooting post-sales support issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team to identify, qualify, and quantify opportunities.
- Provide pre-sales technical support for assigned products.
- Deliver accurate sales presentations and support RFI/RFP responses.
- Offer field support for critical post-sales issues.
- Develop customer and partner relationships.
- Provide feedback and market intelligence.
- Represent Thales at conferences and trade shows.
Key Knowledge And Experience
- Understanding of information security principles including cryptography and network security.
- Experience in solution integration and application development.
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, DB2) and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with encryption, tokenization, virtualization and compliance standards (PCI, GDPR).
- Experience with web servers and system administration in Windows/Linux.
- Fluency in Korean and English is required.
- Bachelor degree in MIS, Computing or similar field.
- Minimum 5 years technical IT experience, with at least 3 years in a customer facing role.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA) are a plus.
