Summary
Thales DIS BPS Digital offers various innovative, secure and fully digital solutions for banks and financial institutions. Transaction Control product offers our banking clients new features and rapid developments in their payment workflow by complementing or replacing their authorization management system (accept or reject payments). It offers a control for transaction ranging from the protection against suspicious payments made abroad, to innovative dynamic CVV that changes between each card usage for payment to maximize user experience and security.
We seek a Product Owner / Product Owner responsible for the definition, strategy, and execution of our product roadmap for this solution.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision by taking into account industry trend and customer needs
- Close collaboration with the Solution Designer in the definition of solution/product feature
- Manage and prioritise product backlog to maximise the product value proposition for customer/end-user
- Provide well-defined user stories for the agile team's execution
- Accountable for the sizing of the user story with the team during grooming
- Ensure the quality of implementation of the story by emphasising DoD and acceptance of stories on sprint reviews
- Ensure that software security metrics are taken into account, including necessary follow-up to ensure no known high/critical security issue before the release
- Ensure performance requirements are taken into account and measurable
- Ensure UX/DX aspects are taken into account, liaise with UX designer whenever needed
- Accountable for detailed specification (internal) and external specification (developer portal)
- Track sprint progress and act proactively on impediments
- Provide iteration and release planning and collaborate with Release Manager to ensure proper deployment of the solution
- Build and maintain product roadmap with regular quarterly updates
- Work closely with other Product Owners to ensure dependencies/expectations of the other parts of the solutions are concise and tracked
Preferred Skills And Experiences
- Bachelor or master degree
- Proven track record of product management in SaaS with at least 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in card payment / transaction management system
- Comfortable in defining web services API as the primary interfaces of the solution
- Comfortable with applied cryptography and software security concept
- In-depth knowledge of agile processes and principles
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Organised and comfortable in managing planning with multiple dependencies
- Experience in UX design is a plus
