Your Daily Life

The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems & platforms, the assembly/integration/testing of satellites, and in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.We are looking for a RAMS Manager (H/F) to be based in Cannes.

Responsibilities

You will integrate the transnational RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) expertise department, responsible for Functional Safety activities at Satellite and Sub-system levels, and Safety related to launch pad regulations, as well as Space Debris Mitigation (SDM) and Space Traffic Management (STM).As the RAMS Manager, you will be responsible for the definition, analysis, and verification of safety requirements for reliability, availability, and safety on preliminary design and observation, science, and telecommunication missions you are assigned to.You will also have the opportunity to perform risk analyses for EGSE and contribute to innovative space missions.Joining us, you will be entrusted with the following tasks:

• Ensuring and securing the design of the solution with respect to functional safety requirements and space debris and flight safety regulations.
• Consolidating functional safety performances and demonstrating compliance with reliability, fault tolerance, and safety regulations.
• Escalating criticalities and making recommendations to reduce residual risks of failure and safety.

In this role, you will first participate in a satellite project and other diverse projects, gaining significant technical interface experience with clients and various engineering departments. This serves as an excellent stepping stone towards roles with technical responsibility, such as Systems Engineering or Quality Assurance.
