Your Daily Impact

As an Ingénieur Safety Logiciel, you will be an integral part of an engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead Software Assurance and conduct safety analyses throughout the product development lifecycle. This ensures compliance with both legislative and contractual requirements.

Your Missions Include:

• Defining security specifications by identifying safety requirements for developing solutions with controlled risks.
• Providing expert guidance to various domains during development phases to influence design outcomes.
• Supporting software development teams in achieving defined software security levels.
• Verifying or validating compliance proofs of the design against identified safety requirements.
• Estimating safety service costs for proposals.
• Conducting studies within the allocated budget.
• Collaborating closely with Hardware Engineering, System Engineering, and Software Engineering to ensure products comply with regulatory requirements (European Directives) and specific program safety demands.

Your Profile

To succeed as an Ingénieur Safety Logiciel, you should possess strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting your arguments within a transverse organization and building excellent relationships. You have a solid understanding of electronics, electromechanics, hydraulics, and Software Assurance, enabling you to comprehend and analyze complex system functionalities. Proficiency in English is essential for drafting specifications, non-conformity reports, and regular exchanges with clients and suppliers.

You are an Engineer in Risk Management, Functional Safety, or Software Assurance with a minimum of 12 years of experience in:

• Safety risk management, software security, and complex system design.
• Safety management and/or functional security standards (e.g., MIL-STD 882, DEF STAN 00-56, ARP 4754, CEI 61508, or other functional security standards), essential CE marking, and compliance requirements.
