Your Daily Life
The User-Centric Solutions Engineering Department (DIUCS), responsible for Thales Group's digital services, is looking for its next functional testers! DIUCS, with over 1000 engineers, serves both the Thales group's needs and those of companies seeking IT service offerings in the energy, health, industry, public sector, finance, services, and defense sectors. Our DNA is centered on user experience and the efficiency of associated services and products. We specialize in the end-to-end development of cloud-native web and mobile applications.
By joining UCS, you'll be part of a department capable of delivering software solutions with high strategic stakes, secured (due to our clients' critical environments), innovative (to support/accelerate our clients' digital transformation), immersive (AR/VR), focused on user experience, while mastering practices and technologies such as cloud, agile at scale, eco-design, UX Design, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Your Profile
As an "Integration Validation Verification and Qualification (IVVQ)" Engineer, you will design and develop test solutions using your knowledge of associated tools and methodologies. You will contribute to anticipating problem detection to deliver high-quality products and services. You will also follow, transmit, and seek to improve best practices.
Your Main Missions:
- With the IVVQ Manager, you will participate in the design of the test strategy.
- In close collaboration with the Business Analysis team, you will analyze functional requirements and project specifications.
- Within your team, you will estimate the workload for tasks assigned to you and communicate their progress.
- You will write manual test cases and associated data sets.
- You will execute functional test campaigns and communicate their progress.
- In liaison with users and the development team, you will participate in the analysis of incidents and anomalies, and ensure their correction is tracked.
You hold a Master's degree or are a graduate of an engineering school and have approximately 3 years of significant experience in testing. You master test tools like Squash TM, Jira, etc.
Ideally, you have real experience in the banking/finance/insurance sector, you know how to integrate your tests into a continuous integration pipeline, and you are familiar with Agile principles, particularly SAFe.
You are resourceful, innovative, and solution-oriented. You have team spirit. You also enjoy working independently and seek responsibility. You are adaptable and can react to change.
