Your Role - Associate SOC Security Analyst

This position requires technical expertise, cyber threat awareness, and strong analytical skills to detect and respond to cyber threats. The role involves collaborative incident investigation, writing detailed reports, and continuous process improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor and analyze security events via SIEM and EDR tools.
  • Investigate alerts from SOAR, canaries, and firewalls.
  • Identify security threats and recommend remediation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties during incidents.
  • Write reports and perform quality assurance on documents.
  • Drive continuous improvement in SOC tools and processes.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and trends.

About You

The ideal candidate is an Australian citizen with or eligible for Defence security clearance, skilled in cybersecurity analysis, and able to work flexible hours including overnight or weekends. Experience with MS Sentinel/Defender is highly regarded.
