Position Overview: Business Development Specialist
This role offers growth and learning opportunities for a caring professional ready to further develop their skills in healthcare while making a difference in patients' lives. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving niche market strategy and new business development, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead targeted growth initiatives and market development.
- Onboard, train, and develop new Business Development team members.
- Support marketing efforts, physician and attorney relations, and community outreach.
- Generate excitement for Texas Regional Physicians and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive new business.
- Research and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Create comprehensive market sales presentations for executive leadership.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely follow-up after sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Development, Marketing, or Sales.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership, customer service, writing, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and multiple projects with attention to detail.
