Overview

Texas Instruments is shaping the future with innovative solutions in electronics. As a participant in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), new graduates join the Information Technology Security organization as Cyber Security Engineers working on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and harden operating systems, applications, and network devices.
  • Administer and manage security tool policies and efficacy.
  • Design and configure solutions aligned with zero-trust architecture.
  • Contribute to architectural standards and security documentation.
  • Write scripts and playbooks to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Align solutions with regulatory frameworks such as NIST and ISO.
  • Support scalable control designs and audit preparations.
  • Evaluate and implement new security technologies with leadership.
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for various projects.
  • Support secure cloud infrastructure design and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Preferred: Basic understanding of privileged-access concepts, endpoint protection, familiarity with Windows/Linux, introductory exposure to cloud platforms, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
