Overview

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin, TX is seeking an eDiscovery Project Manager. This role involves meeting project goals, managing litigation support technology, and ensuring effective eDiscovery operations to support litigation matters, investigations, and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and initiation of eDiscovery projects.
  • Manage deployment, integration, and administration of an eDiscovery solution.
  • Develop policies, training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Provide technical assistance in litigation support and data management.
  • Create demonstrative exhibits and manage large data sets.

Essential Job Functions

Evaluate project requirements, develop project plans, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors, while proactively solving case needs. Maintain and administer eDiscovery technology and ensure compliance with legal standards and data security requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Possess in-depth knowledge of legal and eDiscovery processes and best practices, strong project management skills, and technical proficiency with eDiscovery applications such as Relativity and Everlaw. Ability to manage complex projects, handle data processing tasks, and prepare technical presentations is essential.

Registrations, Licensure And Experience

Preferred certifications include PMP and Certified E-Discovery Specialist. A minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience in eDiscovery or litigation support is required.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, regular position based in Austin, TX. The role offers telework eligibility, travel up to 10%, and is subject to required background checks and pre-employment screening.
