Overview
Join Texas Health and Human Services as an Administrative Assistant IV in Austin, TX. You will support multiple enforcement programs and work with various regulatory teams such as Nursing Facility Administrator, Nurse Aide Enforcement, Medication Aide Enforcement, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phones, referring callers, and taking messages.
- Entering and tracking data; processing reports via computer system.
- Preparing and distributing federal and state enforcement letters and reports.
- Maintaining multiple databases and ensuring timely referral processing.
- Preparing monthly statistical reports for various credentialing programs.
- Performing general administrative support including filing, copying, scanning, mailing, and faxing.
Essential Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational ability, comprehension of federal & state rules, excellent communication skills and proficiency with standard office technology and software are required. Knowledge of maintaining records, technical reviews and preparing detailed reports is essential.
