Overview

Texas Children's Careers is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will develop business solutions by investigating processes and understanding data and communication flows within the Integrated Delivery System.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Translate user/business needs into detailed requirement specifications.
  • Identify system or application needs.
  • Analyze current business practices, user needs, and workflow processes.
  • Document clinical/business processes.
  • Perform vendor analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Investigate alternative solutions with feasibility studies.
  • Facilitate system installation through the implementation cycle.
  • Perform configuration analysis and design systems.
  • Analyze system problems and implement modifications.
  • Coordinate system implementations and upgrades.
  • Manage assessments/analyses for current or potential initiatives.
  • Partner with technology leads to develop budgets for infrastructure, software, and services.
  • Monitor cloud and telecom spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement financial controls.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts.
  • Oversee telecom billing processes including invoice validation, dispute resolution, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of telecom assets, usage, and contracts.
  • Assist in reconciling invoices to purchase orders.

Additional Requirements

All successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 8 years of major system design and implementation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree substitutes for four years of work experience; Master’s degree substitutes for two years
  • Experience in FinOps with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial planning software
