Job Description

The Graduate Assistant - Non Teaching Testing Services will support office administered exams by acting as a test proctor, checking in students, monitoring exam sessions, and ensuring academic integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist daily functions of the Office of Testing Services.
  • Act as a Test Proctor for exam administration.
  • Ensure testing facilities and equipment are maintained.
  • Manage and file Prior Learning Assessments records.
  • Develop advertising materials for campus and community.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and full-time graduate student enrollment at Prairie View A&M University (minimum credit requirements apply) with good academic standing.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Confidentiality and independent work capability.
  • Multitasking, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency including PowerPoint, SPSS, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
