Job Summary
At Tetra Pak, we are seeking an expert Service Engineer to support our customers with the maintenance, installation, and commissioning of our advanced processing equipment. While you will be part of a dedicated team, the majority of your time will involve working directly at customer sites. This role requires an individual who thrives working independently, often remotely from the main office, and enjoys extensive travel. Our official office is located in Bucharest, Romania, but ideally, you should be based in the western part of Romania, such as Timisoara, Alba Iulia, Lugoj, or Caransebes, to ensure close proximity to our key customers in the region. Expect to travel by car approximately 80% of your time to various customer locations.
Please note that career migration is not supported for this position.
What You Will Do
As a Service Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Installing, commissioning, and maintaining Tetra Pak processing equipment at customer sites, including preparing the sites for new installations.
- Executing preventive maintenance activities strictly following global Tetra Pak standard procedures.
- Working with complex equipment and leveraging the latest automation technology at various customer locations.
- Ensuring Tetra Pak's high-quality standards are met to secure utmost customer satisfaction.
- Promptly escalating all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues.
- Acting as a professional ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times and performing all work in strict accordance with both Tetra Pak and customer safety regulations and requirements.
We Believe You Have
- 1 to 3 years of experience in installations, maintenance, and service work.
- The ability to dependently or independently deliver preventive maintenance, industrial systems troubleshooting, installation tasks, and upgrade installations.
- Previous experience in roles such as Technician, Production Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer.
