As a Service Engineer at Tetra Pak, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, delivering high-quality service and support. You will troubleshoot complex issues, train operators, and manage contract performance to ensure our equipment and customer relationships operate smoothly. Joining our Customer Service Operations team, you will maintain food processing and packaging equipment at customer facilities, contributing to the continuous operation of food production for millions globally.
What You Will Do
- Travel to customer sites to install, commission, and maintain Tetra Pak processing equipment or complete lines, including upgrades (process, automation, mechanical).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations.
- Analyze technical issues and escalate when needed using standard operating procedures.
- Provide on-site production support and ensure operational efficiency.
- Train customer operators and maintenance technicians on equipment and processes.
- Prepare timely quality reports (technical assistance, maintenance, compliance).
- Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Establish and maintain positive, ongoing customer relationships, including follow-up on concerns and proactive support.
- Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations.
What We Believe You Have
- Technical education in electromechanics; automation is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industrial installations, maintenance, and/or service work.
- Mechanical, electrical, and automation knowledge, including experience with PLCs (preferably Siemens, S7, TIA Portal).
- Proficient in MS Office and basic IT tools.
- Intermediate English (written and spoken).
- Valid Class B driving license.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 90%, subject to market conditions).
- A proactive, customer-first mindset, with flexibility, team spirit, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
