Key Responsibilities for the Technical Architect
- Design robust, scalable architectures for various systems, including apps, SDKs, and SaaS platforms, tailored to Tether's specific tech stack.
- Employ systems-level thinking to structure components for optimal reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, actionable architectures.
- Guide development processes through comprehensive code reviews, building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and establishing skeleton structures.
- Write and meticulously review technical proposals, ensuring strict alignment with agreed-upon architectural standards.
- Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and ideas, actively identifying and suggesting opportunities for system improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Architect or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on development experience with JavaScript and C++.
- Proven track record in developing or architecting successful, scalable applications.
- Experience with P2P technologies is highly valued.
- Profound understanding of architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, coupled with the ability to quickly absorb and adapt to new stacks and tools.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas clearly and concisely to diverse teams.
- Proficiency in creating and managing architectural artifacts, including diagrams, specifications, and comprehensive documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a talent for simplifying complex technical challenges.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
